Project Overview

Toosen recently completed an outdoor LED display project in Spain for an outdoor event venue. The customer needed a bright, stable, and clearly visible LED screen that could be used for video playback, advertising, event information, and live visual content.

The final display size was 4 meters wide × 3 meters high. The screen was installed on an outdoor truss structure, allowing the audience to see the content clearly from different viewing distances.

Why the Customer Chose an Outdoor LED Display

Outdoor events require a display that can remain visible under strong daylight. Compared with projectors, an outdoor LED display can provide higher brightness and stronger visual impact, especially when the audience is sitting far away from the stage.

For this Spain project, the 4m × 3m screen provides enough display area for videos, promotional content, event information, and dynamic graphics.

The rectangular screen format is also practical because most standard video and advertising content can be adapted easily without complicated content production.

High Refresh Rate for Smooth Images

One of the important specifications of this project is the refresh rate of ≥7680Hz.

A high refresh rate helps the LED screen display moving images more smoothly and reduces visible scanning lines or flickering when the screen is photographed or recorded by cameras.

Stable Power Supply

The LED display supports:

Input: 90–264V
Output: DC 5V

The wide input voltage range makes the system suitable for different local power environments and helps improve installation flexibility.

Inside the LED display system, the power supply converts the input voltage into the DC 5V required by the LED modules and related electronic components.

A stable power system is especially important for outdoor projects where the screen may operate continuously for several hours during an event.

Outdoor Installation Structure

For this Spain project, the LED display was installed with a strong truss support structure.

Before installation, the screen dimensions, cabinet arrangement, load-bearing structure, cables, and power distribution were planned in advance.

For outdoor projects, the supporting structure should not only hold the LED screen securely but should also consider wind load and the surrounding installation environment.

Enough space should also be reserved behind or around the display for cable connection, inspection, and maintenance.

Factory Testing Before Shipment

Before shipment, the complete outdoor LED display system was tested in the factory.
